Looking foward to the upcoming line-up additions!
Who wants to take a stab at guessing the date of the announcement? I'm thinking next weds!
Any idea of what MJ has in store for us "on the fence folk" to swerve us into buying in? I personally wanna see some Keller, Zach Deputy, ALO,Revivalist, Avetts or The Head & the heart! Any thoughts?

Via text Jetro has pegged the under/over date as 2/22.
We know the bands have been booked and they are "smaller acts".
Avetts and Keller... nope.
Missed Zach every time. Would be time to catch him.
Few bands make me as happy as ALO (as my crew said last year, "We saw your goofy dancin' a$$ up front") but they came east last year.
If I get one pick, "smaller", cheaper, etc... alumni GANDALF MURPHY AND THE GRAND SLAMBOVIAN CIRCUS OF DREAMS

I'd like to see any of the following: Cabinet, Natural Child, Houndmouth, Devil Makes Three, Wood Brothers, Mac DeMarco, Sturgill Simpson, or Lettuce. All of those bands are on the festival circuit this year and all would be great additions to Mtn Jam. I'll be excited if we get even one of them.

Is there a chance that maybe we took certain comments wrong and that Gary only means that all the bigger bands are all booked but not ALL have been announced yet... Perhaps?

I think Gary said no more big bands in his Q&A a while back. Throwing my 2ยข in, lettuce for funk jam , J Roddy Walston or strand of oaks. Lively rocking. And something psychedelic and grippy like the Black Angels or strangers family band.....

Gary did confirm on the FB Q and A that all the biggies have been signed.
There are a few of the above mentioned bands playing Governors Ball. I believe we could see some fill ins from there.
I love all the speculation. All good suggestions.

Yea that's what I thought but maybe... just maybe they are keeping an already signed "bigger" act hush hush until the announcement  ...any chance -most likely not and that's all good! I can't wait for my 4th(newbie lol) MJ in June |

well.... i will keep my fingers crossed that they have a surprise up their sleeves. I have only been to one. last year. which was stellar. i have to think, the chance to book Black Keys and Alabama Shakes came up, they jumped on it and paid a good chunk of change for them. thats why the second tier looks good but not crazy good this year....anyway you slice it. i am going to have a blast!!!
