I remember them saying 3 more headliners and only Robert plant and the Alabama shakes were announced. Still one more to come?

They said two more headliners after the initial three bands were announced. No Dead acts this year outside of JRAD.
Headliners in order are moe., Robert Plant, Black Keys, Alabama Shakes. Serious downgrade compared to the last two years, if you ask me.

Ya it's a bummer. Such a downgrade from the last 2 years. No thanks on spending that much money to see the shakes close down the fest

Surprised at all the negative feedback. Last 2 years we had Phil & Bobby. A Dead reunion would be cool but they aren't doing a big tour. I'm sure Mountain Jam and other fests tried to get them. Also, not sure why everyone is so upset about the Shakes closing. Obviously, Plant should be closing but I think it will be better on Friday night. Sunday is kind of a slower day and people are kind of beat b/c it's the last day. Friday is when everyone is feeling it and hitting their stride. I have no problems with it. Gonna be another great Mountain Jam.

I want to see Deadmau5 for the latenight. YES YES I KNOW.... hate all you want, but lastyear was "PrettyLights" and it really brought alot to the table... and also got rid of Saint for the night!! The Mau5trap would be such a welcome addition IMO.
OK please don't stone me to death......

Pretty lights was epic last year!
edit: Big Gigantic will fill that void I think. Dopapod and Budos band are both strong late night acts too. But I think big gigantic is going to be great as they usually are.

I dont understand why so many people, not just on this board, are getting crazy over festivals chnaging it up a bit. All I have been seeing is lots of jam fans getting really upset that there aren't as many of their favorite artists at festivals anymore. So what? Compared to last year, the majority of the festival lineups are super diverse. So why not try and get into something new? And if you are going to be super stingy about it, then make the trek to a festival that better suits your tastes (lots of Jammy stuff at Peach, Waka and Outlook). I go to festivals with with an open mind and open heart, but im just seeing so much Haterade being drank that it really kills the vibe. There are so many good performers on the MJ lineup this year, yet so many of you are wishing it were totally different and bad mouthing excellent artist. Y'all seriously need to chill

Guest GWAR!, I like your name and would love to see GWAR with Vulvatron at MJ. Can't be much more open minded than that.
The MJ Manifesto clearly states that the MJ faithful is never 100% happy with the lineup as we are a diverse and educated musical community. Once we get to the mountain all that armchair booker stuff goes away.

Its not as good as the last two years and they charge an arm and a leg for it. They've turned it into what hunter mountain is I'm the winter time; A tourist trap
