I love craft beer and would love to enjoy some while camping on the mountain however most of it comes in glass bottles or growlers. It seems like those are no-no's. Should I try to bring them in or will they get confiscated? Thanks for your help.

It will get confiscated. Why even bring it there are so many craft beer companies that are canning now why risk it.

There are more beers in cans than ever. Glass bottles are in the top five no nos.

I'm with everyone else. They are extremely strict on the glass issue. Even a bottle of ketsup will be taken away. Dies that beer company make a mini keg?

Catsup too.
In the area Saranac and Magic Hat are readily available in cans.

I'm really into the craft beer so I'll come up with some recommendations. Any good beer store should probably have canned beer by these awesome breweries.
Breweries Anderson Valley - Look for Summer Solstice or one of their IPAs. They can the majority of their beers. Oskar Blues - Dales Pale Ale, Deviant Dales, or any of their beers really. Founders - All Day IPA Six Point Brewery - Lots of different kinds. Sierra Nevada - Torpedo Extra IPA New England Brewing - Does a lot of canned beers.
Magic Hat and Saranac are also great recommendations.

For a local-ish and tasty treat, pick up a case of Utica Club in cans.

I'll be coming well stocked with cans of Dale's Pale Ale (Oskar Blues Brewery) as well as Stowaway IPA (Baxter Brewing Co). My two favorite brews which also happen to come in cans anyway. Haven't even bought a bottled brew in months! Just cuz you can't bring bottles doesn't mean you have to slum it in the least.
