I have been to two other festivals and normally I am very careful where I eat. Obviously I chose the wrong place. I wonder what MJ does to check these places to see if they are really legit!

No food poisoning here.
Last year I saw a guy from the health department walking around with a huge binder and checking various vendors.

Yeah, I think I did -- ate a philly cheese steak from one of the stands behind the west stage and immediately felt sick to my stomach.. didn't have a very fun night after that

I ate at many of the vendors and didn't experience intestinal distress..
I am sorry you had a bad experience but I thought the vendor choices and quality was good

Loved the food! Didn't even get to try everything I wanted. Vegetarian Oasis especially rocked and I am not a vegetarian

I am going to assume that it wasn't the vendors but the flu that it is being discussed in the other thread.

I'd have to check again but I had salmonella poisoning once and ended up in hospital. The doctor told me it takes close to 36 hours for food poisoning to settle into the body. I'm not discounting your story, but is it possible you got sick eating somewhere else?
So me and saint are at Philly cheese steak, sausage vendor, jersey chicken.... yummmy so good

I spent $20 for frozen chicken and a Pepsi ha-ha after spending that much money on garbage food my Stomach started to hurt a little too. What's up with the ridiculous prices? I wanted to like this event, but besides the music and scenery it sucks.

What vendor was charging $20 for chicken and a Pepsi?
I agree that some of the food prices were a bit high, but they were still much lower than at most other entertainment venues I've been to.
