also had to scan in for VIP lounge.. But never scan out.. You mean I could have left the VIP and never would have been hassled? Poop, now that I think about it, we should have tried going into VIP and when the light lit up red just cursed the RFID and kept walking in. |

It was my first time going to this event and will be my last. I go to a music festival to relax and have fun not stand in line and get searched like I am at an airport. Maybe I am just used to better music festivals in Maine. Everyone around my camp site said the same thing. Some security guards were cool others were pricks. One guy searched my wallet inside and out.

RFID was a ridiculous mess. Mine only worked once ever, and NO way was I going to the lodge to get a new one. SCREW that. Mountain Jam.... your RFID was an "EPIC FAIL"

Gotta give them credit for trying something new....it didnt work out, they don't always do, especially when its new.
Probably would be cheaper to go back to the old slip on wrist ribbon.

Its a way to figure out movement in the festival - marketing type thing. It was tried and GOTV (VIBES) and when there isn't an influx or outflux its no biggie but the when its prime time in and out its a cluster fuck and the people in charge of it (being the checkers) just give up because they take all the abuse of the people needing to be checked. Mine mostly worked (green light) but on busy times they just asked to see if the band was green thus entrance to the camp grounds.

I know that with this weekends Rockfest, IF you haven't "Beeped" out, then you are screwed to try and easily get back in.....
