If they find numerous bottles (plastic) of liquor or packs of beer will they confiscate or do anything about it at arrival and car searching? It says on the website "reasonable amount (one case of beer)" or something along those lines. I would just like to get through with no trouble. Thanks

You should be okay with a couple cases of beer or couple plastic bottles of liquor. Most people end up buying a case or two at the convenience store down the road when they run out. I think they just want to make sure that what you're bringing in is for personal consumption and not to sell to others - or you don't get out of control and become a problem.

We had four cases for the three of us in the RV last year. A case in the fridge and three laying right in front of the fridge. No issues other than the beer in the fridge shifted and fell out when they searched. Across four days a case for a person is more than reasonable. Keep in mind we are all in our late 30s and the only other thing they found was water, meat, hamburger buns, and bacon.
If half your crew is under age in a VW bus emitting suspicious odors with a keg in the trunk... you are inviting a hassle.

I feel like at these sorts of things, it all depends on who is searching your car. While most of the police are looking for glass and Nitrous, you may get the arrogant hippie hater in the bunch that may be a real jerk about things. Lesson I have learned about getting a car searched, be polite, with a smile, and be respectful. Most of the LEO"s are not out to be jerks, they have a job to do and that is to keep everyone safe. NOW, with that said, I am not implying that crazy stuff doesn't happen. There are some cops that just have to be ball busters.
As for alcohol, if you are hauling in 5-6 cases (24 packs or 30 packs) of beer with 1-2 people in the car, they may say something.

If you recall, last year the town drunk proclaimed that you should ALWAYS pay extra for the bacon on the breakfast samwich

I've seen people bringing in loads of beer and it's never been a problem.
Go for it but keep it hidden away when you aren't at your camp. This method of hiding prevents the shock of coming back to no beer at all.

I think she was saying that you should hide it to prevent theft.
For your second question, I don't know for sure because I don't camp, but I imagine it is a possibility.

no that's not what I'm saying LOL.......
Be Smart... Hide your beer in your tent with a lock on your tent to prevent people from walking past and grabbing your case of beer when you are not at your campsite. I haven't been ID'd for alcohol but then again I'm 46yrs young.

So I'm not camping. Their alcohol policy says no booze on the "concert field" - does that mean I can't bring booze at all? Or is there somewhere besides the concert field where I can consume my own tasty beverages? Thanks!

Alcohol is available for purchase in the concert field, but you can't bring it in.

I am just attending the festival daily, not camping, can I purchase beer from vendors at the festival? I do not want to drag beer in.
