Where is the best place to buy food like a supermarket at around Hunter Mountain, I was looking on Google for a supermarket but
all I see are small stores, I'm sick of driving food upstate and seeing my food floating in icy water when I get up there, I'll pay the extra
price for the meat but where can I find Coleslaw, chopped meat, steaks, cookies and such in a store up there where the best
place ! Man does not live on bread alone, or the vendor food always need a little extra when things are closed ! N0 fridge to pop into 
late night on the hill !

Do yourself a favor and get an extreme 5 or 7 day cooler. So worth the money.

There is a supermarket called tops in Tannersville (about 5 miles from hunter). It is expensive and selection is sometimes limited. Depending on which way you are coming up, there are some other options as well further away but sort of on the way in. If you get off of the thruway in catskill and head up rt 23, there is a hannaford at the corner of 23 and 32. There is also a walmart super center in catskill. If you are getting off in Saugerties, there is a price chopper about a mile from the exit on rt 212. If you get off in Kingston, there is a hannaford in Kingston plaza. Those are your closest choices.
