MtJam Arrival Question

Hello fellow Jammers!

This will be my second MtJam -- first year in an RV -- and I was wondering what arrival will be like. Last year I arrived a day late, so everyone else was pretty much already in.

I know at other festivals I've gone to, sometime people show up a day early (wed night) to get in line or ready to enter Thursday morning... Is that something that happens here?

We're coming from Maryland so we're wondering if it would be best to ride up early Thursday morning, or go up Wed night and hang at a rest stop till Thursday morning.

What are the lines like getting in?

Any info anyone was would be so awesome! Thanks in advance!!

Now that B'more isn't on fire anymore we should be fine driving north. 

We usually roll in in the RV Thursday after lunch before dinner and the lot isn't close to full.

people and RVs were there Weds late eve / Thurs AM waiting in the holding area. Which was right where you got searched going in near the bridge and the BAR / convenient mart

Thanks for the info! Sounds like we can go up late Wed night with no issues then
