Anyone have a suggestion on the best route from Albany to Hunter in an RV?
Normally we head down 87 to 23 to 9W through Catskill then over 23A to Hunter but I've never made the trip in an RV, so I've never really paid any attention to any bridges (or other restrictions).
Thanks for any insight!!!

I remember there was a thread dedicated to this in last years boards.
Have you checked there?

You can get off on exit 21 and take rt23 to rt296 in Windham... Will bring you in the back way... Follow signs for Hunter Mountain when you get off exit...

Bump, any updates. Towing an RV and wanted to avoid Haines Falls and other steep terrain. Any suggestions?

Don't do 23A with an RV or towing if you are driving. As a passenger, just keep hooooooooooooooooooolding on. We come from the south and go 28 to 214 in the RV.

Thanks for the suggestions... I've gone that way before but the last few years it's been 23A so I don't remember what 23 to 296 is like.
