If you catch the info on the magic internet box, please copy and paste with the source. I'll update here as well. * JRAD was listed as 6/4 MJ and Waka 6/4-7 fueling speculation that they are Thursday. At this point numerous bands list 6/4 or 6/4-7 as their date. I think they may have caught on that we do this research. * On 3/30 a daily schedule popped up on the app... THURSDAY 6/4Sons of Bill (Pollstar) Marco Benevento (MJ Webpage) Railroad Earth (MJ Webpage) HL-MOE. (MJ Webpage) FRIDAY 6/5Spirit Family Reunion (Pollstar, no MJ announcement) Nicki Bluhm ( Pollstar ) Mother Hips ( App leak and Pollstar update) Trigger Hippy ( band website went to generic 6/4, App leak 6/5 ) Jon Cleary (Pollstar) Grace ( band website ) JRAD ( App leak) HL-Robert Plant (MJ Webpage) LN - DARK SIDE OF THE MULE (Gary on FB) LN - Dopapod ( App leak) SATURDAY 6/6Matt Anderson (Pollstar, no MJ announcement) Rusted Root 1PM ( Band FB page ) Larry Campbell with Warren Haynes ( larrycampbellmusic.net/news.htm ) Shakey ( App Leak) Benjamin Booker ( App Leak) Rebulation ( App Leak) MULE (Gary on FB ) HL- The Black Keys (MJ Webpage) LN - Big Gigantic ( band website ) LN - Budos Band ( band website ) Dopapod ( App leak) SUNDAY 6/7Hurray for the Riff Raff ( band website ) Larry Campbell with Theresa Williams ( larrycampbellmusic.net/news.htm ) Amy Helm ( band website ) Franti ( App Leak) Lake Street Dive ( band website+Pollstar) HL- Alabama Shakes (MJ Webpage)

Thursday already looks like it will be the best day for my taste. Big G will probably be the late night band on Saturday, assuming DSOTMule is Friday late night. I think moe. is filling the Umphrey's slot from last year, and will be the headliner/late night, starting at 10:30 and maybe playing two sets.
I'm a bit upset that RRE is billed higher than JRAD and is on the same day. If the schedule is similar to last year's, that will mean RRE is getting ~2 hours and JRAD will be cut down to an hour or so. Maybe Mtn Jam will decide to restructure the Thursday schedule and utilize the main stage more and give us some longer sets. It would be nice to see Benevento, JRAD, and RRE each get at least 90 minutes with smaller bands in between given 45 min sets on the second stage. Something like this would be a perfect start to the festival for me:
2-245: west stage band 245-415: Benevento 415-5: west stage band 5-630: JRAD 630-715: west stage band 715-915: RRE 915-1000: west stage band 1030-130: moe.

I'd rather see JRAD get more time too. Remember RRE has been working as Warren's band for the solo album. It could just be a thank you and they have been together longer. JRAD is the number one searched band on JAMBASE.

RRE & JRAD should be on different days. That's nuts!

It's possible, that they just put June 4th down b/c that's when MJ starts. I think Dispatch did that on their page in 2012. We had them down originally as Thursday b/c of that. RRE & JRAD both need long sets. And it's crazy if they have all the jam bands on Thurs. I bet JRAD is Sat.

Always possible, but they list the other fest as 6/4-7.
Maybe out remaining smaller acts are jammy.

I think Gary said Mule is playing a set before the Keys Sat and late night Friday. Also I found that Lake Street Dive is playing on Friday from their site. www.lakestreetdive.com/#!tour/cjg9

Found a few more; Trigger Hippy- Sunday triggerhippy.net/tour/Amy Helm- Sunday www.amyhelm.com/#tourGrace Potter- Friday www.gracepotter.com/shows/Big Gigantic- Saturday biggigantic.net/events/Budos Band- Sat thebudos.com/#tour-datesJRAD - Their website says Thurs as we already established but a lot of bands have Thurs down, since that's the start of MJ. I am skeptical that JRAD plays Thurs b/c it makes no sense and it doesn't say it on the lineup page. The only thing that makes me think I might be wrong is that for Wakrusa it just says June 6th, which is Saturday. I would think if they don't play Thurs they will play Sat or Sun but I'm prob wrong. Unless they play late night Thurs, but I doubt it.

Damn Jetro, you have time on your hands. You must work for the government.
The JRAD thing is a guess. The poster that originally found it (sorry Jammer I have not gone back to give you credit) pointed out that- Why list Thursday for MJ and the whole thing for Waka?). They call it research because "re" means to do again. JRAD before Shakes big stage makes sense. Thursday makes Thursday something to look forward to. It also fits the "Take it easy Thursday, pace yourself, Friday morning, WTF?, breakfast becomes brunch becomes lunch becomes no seriously this band I really want to see Friday." I am used to.

JRAD is the number one searched band on JAMBASE. Yeah, God forbid a band with original music plays ahead of a cover band milking the shit out of the Grateful Dead tit. I bet you guys cant wait for Rusted Root too!

There really isn't a band in the line up that I can't wait to see. However, I would be more inclined to go see The Duo than RRE.
