I said to my buddy earlier, if I wake up and see this on my computer screen at 10am, I will lose it. I will be really disappointed if there isn't any members of The Dead there given it's their 50th anniversary...

I'm surprised that something hasn't happened for MJ but if anyone is selling TIX for Chicago, PLEASE let me know as I do know people who wish to go and him and his wife are huge dead heads.

you guys really think that would happen? I hered they turned down a HUGE offer to play at bonnaruu this year. And I feel like they would stick to more sentimental venues. idk

We have been waiting on an announcement not containing "big names." They would be a big name. One member would be a big name.
They did turn down big money to play Roo, but then lined up Dear Jerry at Merriweather in MD.

Hate to say it - but I'd be really surprised at a Bobby or Phil thing and SHOCKED by the Dead. Call me jaded but I don't see it happening.

I don't think they would announce anybody bigger than Lettuce, and that's only because they have been touring with Mule

all small bands to come. which is a good way to get to know some new music. still i would enjoy knowing who....
