Got pretty ugly... People stranded for a long time while they pulled cars out..
I was down in NYC seeing Phish... Missed it all.. Drove past Monday AM - muddy exhausted people walking the roads with their gear...

One of the comments I read was that there were horsepoop in the campgrounds. Were there mounted police patrolling then?

I have this "Holy Grail" image in my head. Maybe the story was written by King Arthur.
This is a good example of why we rent an RV and park it on rock.
