11am – Concert field opens, Gates open (for non-Campers)
I'm guessing this is the same policy as last year that won't let you in to access the vendors/Lodge if you wanted breakfast or coffee before 11am.

How big is the car line waiting to get in Thursday morning and about what time does it form for the first people, does the line form on a public road or does it fit into the Hunter Parking lot. Just wondering. Can anyone post a picture of the car line at MountainJam, I'm thinking getting there around 5am Thursday what kind of line is there formed by then ?

Thanks much, can't decide when to leave, I want to see Dark Star Orchestra and get a good spot, I would like to get a car mountain camping spot as close to the stage as I can get, it would be nice to see the stage from my tent . Having the correct munchies, coffee and juices for the drive is important, my GPS says 4 hours.

Coming from Long Island I like to drive a different route I like to stop for food along the way, I gain weight and get heavier the closer I get to Hunter Mountain, this year I'm brining my own bacon so I can wrap my hotdogs in bacon instead of paying $5 for hotdog on a stick with a single piece of bacon I need like 4 pieces of bacon on my hotdog. Still didn't buy beer today they had a buck off Guinness 16 ounce 4 packs at Stop and Shop $7.99, I'm going for drive tomorrow in search of canned bear that will fit my pallet.
