Coming up from Florida for my first Mountain Jam. Wanted to see what's the Goins on in here man. So what's up y'all ? Long time Allman Brothers fan and my last fest was Wanee 2014, Going to the Peach fest and Lockn as well this year. Flying in to Albany and doing the rent a car thing. Any words of wisdom ? What time are you arriving? We will all be hanging out at the pub across the street from MJ on the main route 23A on Wednesday afternoon. Its called MacGregors Pub. Text me if you need any help.

Hi Soulmate. I am arriving in Albany Tuesday night 11:05 PM and have a car and hotel waiting there as well. While i don't have text on my cell, I do have internet access. I have not read the threads about the meet ups and BBQ yet . I would like to make some friends at the Pub on Wed. As I am flying solo. When time do you meet on Wed.?Like other fests, if you are not camping can you still go hang with folks in the camping area's ? Do they ask you to leave at night without a camping pass ? The official policy is that you can't enter the camping areas without a camping pass, but in the past I've been able to do so.

Hello Skypeyrd! We got the same fest schedule going on this year. We did Wanee and had a great time. The Wanee folk that will be at MJ will be having a meet up at some point but not sure when yet. I'll try to keep you posted.

Welcome. You're going to love Mt. Jam. I didn't make Wanee this year but have been several times in past years. I think you'll find Mt. jam pretty similar - great music, great setting, and great people.
I'm also hitting Lockn' this year. Really looking forward to that lineup.

Welcome. You're going to love Mt. Jam. I didn't make Wanee this year but have been several times in past years. I think you'll find Mt. jam pretty similar - great music, great setting, and great people. I'm also hitting Lockn' this year. Really looking forward to that lineup. Yes, these types of fests are a little slice of heaven man! I never want to leave. Each usually has its little difference's but with the same type of positive vibe with little hassles. |

The drive from Albany should be a little more than an hour - once you're off the thruway be a mellow driver - they're pretty windy roads - slow and steady wins the race....
