Heard another rumor. Talked to someone who went to a Lettuce show and asked Neil Evans if he's gonna be at Mtn Jam. He said yes. They asked if it was gonna be with Soulive or Lettuce and he kind of hinted at no. Then he said that him & Krasno will be there doing something cool. Royal Family Band maybe? Something else? We'll see.

Are we gonna get additional bands today or just the additional headliner? The announcement just says the additional headliner. They also haven't mentioned much about other bands. Everybody seems so sure its ABB.

No surprises this morning. But ABB playing their first two albums? Hell yeah!

They slipped Robert Randolph and a few other bands into this announcement. Also indicated there will be 40 bands and only announced 38 so looks like there will be another announcement coming.

I'm guessing the final few bands will not be of the "holy shit!" variety. Most likely it will be less known bands (like those announced today besides ABB & RR).

The lineup is what it is for 2014. I'm pretty f'n happy to schlep my ass from Colorado for this.

MULE- How about playing MULE and DOSE in their entirety?

TTB - Last time I saw them I would hear a lick and realize it was Susan and not Derek. I always imagine their home life being like "Honey, can you take the trash out and I need you to lay down some slide on that track before dinner."

Franti - Could do without, trying to talk my crew into getting down front and jumpin' one more time.

UM - Two sets, Thursday. Can they top PRIMUS? No rain and they have a chance.

Robinson, Randolph - Nice

Jackie - Late night. Intriguing in that slot. Always like some Jackie Green.

Anders - That's the name that started us thinking we may come back for #10

Reignwolf - This year's SIMO

Tweedy, Marley - Should be cool

Wilson and Rowe - Cool voices

Those last two are kids' bands so I'm looking for four more bands.

Jason Isbell is playing Governor's Ball? DBT is between VA and SC during MJ. Maybe Patterson or Cooley grab plane? Kevn Kinney still has never played. Lucinda??? New Orleans Suspects or Bonerama? Hard Working Americans or The Stockholm Syndrome? Clarence Carter is still playing shows...

Could still be a couple good sized bands added to the mix. If they announce 4 more I'm thinking Krasno & Neal Evans will be one from the rumor I heard. Would love to see Felice Bros in their backyard too. And isn't there 2 latenight spots still open? Unless they put DSO & Moon Taxi late Thursday or something. Xavier Rudd would be cool late night, since he was at the first one and STS9 or Lotus would make sense. lol You know it will prob be 4 tiny bands but they did announce Lone Bellow late last year who aren't too shabby so u never know. I'm good with this lineup though.

Really pumped to see Allmans since I haven't seen them in like 10 years. Saw 'em about 6 times, but it's been a while. Can't believe all the bitchin' going on at the fbook page about them. It's their last year touring! People need to show some respect to one of the best live bands ever.

Secondary bands like Avetts, TTB, Tweedy, Marley, CRB, DSO, Franti, R.Randolph will all bring it. There is some nice diversity there and most of these are no strangers to the mountain.

Trampled By Turtles, Blitzen Trapper, Sister Sparrow, Anders I don't wanna miss either. Saw TBT a couple times and they put on a good, high energy show. BT is a band I never have been huge on except for their first album, but their last album is really good and they should be good live. I missed Anders & Sister first time around so looking forward to both.

I have been doing my homework on Reignwolf, The Weeks, J.Wilson & Lucius lately and all should be awesome. Reignwolf is going to be a must see, The Weeks are this year's Futurebirds, J.WIlson might be the sleeper of the whole festival. Dude is mega talented producer/musician and I've heard is amazing live. Lucius is def different but they look like a lot of fun. I wanna check them. Not gonna be able to see everyone but these 4 I want to try to make it to.

Pretty Lights is gonna be a crazy party Sat night, Beats Antique & Antibalas look insane & Jackie Greene latenight is very interesting. Only 3 more months! I'm ready.
