Websites state they do not allow Camel backs into the venue...
1. do they allow backpacks?
2. do they have filling stations set up?

You can fill your water bottle with ice cold water for $1 at a few stations or fill it for free from the water fountain inside the lodge (by the restrooms).
Backpacks - sometimes they allow it, sometimes they don't. Depends who you get at security.

Security said I couldn't bring my backpack in and when I complained, she had me dump out everything before she let me in to the area. Never had an issue in previous years until last year.

If we ever have ANY trouble with Security getting in,we just go to a different entrance. Never been told we couldnt take our backpack in just different degrees of searching it. once we find a friendly Security person we make friends with them and go to them all the time!  |
