Holy Shit we are almost there. I'm pumped, I am also staying in the VIP but I definitely want to find my way towards the MCJZ crew and chill and meet new people. I have been following this forum since October and I am really excited to meet all of you. see you on the mountain. Cheers.

Hell Yeah. sounds like a plan. I will have 2 tan canopies attached to each other. which probably doesn't help because it is a very common color in a canopy. I'm sure we will find each other. the VIP section isn't really that big.

Yes it is. need heavy duty stakes for the tent. the stakes that come with the tents won't cut it.

That's good advice for anywhere on the mountain.... ...says the guy who had a tent blow completely away one year. Not just blow over, get all messed up. It blew away in the Franti tornado warning storm. Completely gone. Never to be seen again.

I was heading back to camp and saw a tent flying - not knowing it was yours...... zoom..... over the fence and out of the park....sort of cool except it was one of ours......

hey I'm just curious as to what order they do car camping since I won't be there until between 4-5 Thursday. I am assuming the earlier you are the higher up you are, or is it just the opposite? I just keep looking at the map and hope on that border so we're not buried in a corner somewhere, and how many tents can fit on one site? I have quite a few people coming and am fearing we are going to have to break up the site if they're strict with the 10x30

Hunter 3 was where the jam zone was lastyear. As for how you get shuffled in, it's a real toss up as to how the volunteers are putting us in. I've been to bonnaroo and every year it's different.

Does anyone know what the hours for car camping on Thursday will be and what areas (Hunter 1, 2 or 3) they will fill first?

From year to year every festival is different in how they load people in. That's the million dollar question that gets asked and you will have to wait and see. Sorry I can't be of more help but this is only the second year for car camping. We can all guess but Noone can be sure

First timer Jammer here! We bought a car camping pass and I was wondering what the usual setup is? I know it's a 10x30, but any recommendations would be helpful! See everyone there!
