This is my first MJ so I don't have the history to compare or complain. In my own opinion there is some great talent in this line up. I understand MJ has strayed from its roots. My girl and I are pretty stoked about the line up actually, minus Peter Frampton. We went through the whole line up and YouTube the bands we weren't familiar with and are pretty surprised by how talented this line up is. We are very excited to go, and for all you that are too, we will see you there!

Mule is out , Line up is really weak. Progressed to this the last couple of years . Any festivals people know that are great? Look into Peach Fest, lineup is announcing very soon and it's always great. Its cheaper than MJ too. But it's in August

It might not be as full blown jam as a lot of the others here like but I like it all so I'm stoked.

We are thinking about a Purple Elephant camp flag because last time I was altered I was convinced elephants were purple and my friends won't let me live it down. Which set are looking forward to the most? I'm thinking the Revivalists but if Moon Hooch does a late night set that might take the cake. Also Ryan Culwell since I've never seen him come anywhere near this area before.

We are excited to see others like White Denim and Lukas Nelson and Andy Franco. I'm digging Moon Hooch too. Watching their YouTube videos it was hard to look away. We really excited for Matisyahu, Tom Petty, and Steve Miller too. It's a really deeply talented line up. If the weather cooperates we are in for a helluva weekend!

Doing this mostly for my wife as this fits her taste in music perfectly. I wish there was more jam bands but there is definitely solid music top to bottom here except for the strumbellas I effing hate them after seeing them at Newport last year (sorry atrain)
Top 10
1. Gary Clark Jr 2. St. Paul and the Broken Bones 3. The Head and the Heart 4. The Revivalists 5. Tom Petty 6. White Denim 7. Infamous Stringdusters 8. Band of Heathens 9. Hollis Brown 10. Cheese
Also loving the low key add of Marco Benevento. Hopefully he's popping around the whole weekend like Warren has done previously. It's not a mountain jam without Marco!

Just saying this isn't a god awful lineup. The wife loves so many of these acts.

I think Mountain Jam's line up is deeper, but why compare? I say let's do them both...

This is our first year going to Mountain Jam and we are beyond excited. We are booked for a car camping spot. Neither of us are seasoned campers but have camped before. Does anyone have and camping advice, or any advice period? Is there s place to wash off eateries? Any advice will go a long ways to our adventure being fantastic.

My first year. Ive camp at FireFly for the past 4 years. You will need to set up a basic camp wash station. Just bring a old dist pan. Or bucket big enough to clean stuff up. I like to plan on cooking everything i bring in one frying pan. There are water station to refill your water container. I like to save empty jugs from laundry soap or beverages and bring them already full with me for cleaning up and even a guick hair/feet/whatever wash if need . Bring a canopy for shade or rain protection. If you dont already have a blow up mattress, i would suggest just getting the single size. They are easy to blow up and inexpensive to replace. I have a full list of stuff if you want more info.

Im camping in hunter car camping area.
