If Mule is definitely not at Mtn Jam, I think that the people running the fest have drastically misunderstood their audience

He's out and it sucks I've already got my tickets for this year so I'm going but I would like a place to hear about what's happening with this festival this year especially with all the changes and lack of information online so whoever is the admin please let's create a 2017 Mountain jam post of its own!

I see it more like Warren is saying Mt Jam isn't something that he wants to be a part of anymore. He is voicing his disagreement with how things have gone by not playing. After UM made fun of the poor VIP set up I doubt they would ever come back either.

People who are still going should be stoked about White Denim & St. Paul & Broken Bones though. I saw White Denim when they played in the lodge late night a few years ago and they were phenomenal and St. Paul's frontman belts. I've heard really good things.
The whole Warren thing is bullshit. I know he is doing the Last Waltz 40th tour but the way MJ is going about things this year is sketchy. Still not sure if I'm going yet. Waiting for rest of lineup.

That would have required Warren to take an action that would have been perceived as a negative action toward this fest that he helped build and anyone who knows Warren knows he was not going to do something hostile like that. |

Well - If that's what he planned - he failed.. The negative energy is now released and with his negative, flippant comment.. I'm not even sure how I feel about catching a Mule show now.. I think my Mule train has left the station. He could've been up front instead of being whatever... I'm done.. Money seems to be even affecting Warren now. Which is super sad.. |

I bought tickets with the impression that Mule would be a given. Ive been twice over the course of the past few years. Ive had friends go through last years chaos. The lack of announcements is leading me to think that there is a possibility that it could just get cancelled. In past years, price increase usually happens from early bird ticket allotments selling out. It appears tickets sales are much lower than years past because of the lineup venturing away from the original intent of it being a Jam Band fest. If it goes down, Ill just go to something else. I do hope it happens and we get a sweet announcement very soon because my patience is wearing thin. I have always had a blast at MJ and this year will be no different but come on and get those bands announced.

Mule is out , Line up is really weak. Progressed to this the last couple of years . Any festivals people know that are great?
