They move the dates later....June 16-18. Last day is Fathers Day??
Unfortunately, I'm now officially out. Can't make it. Much love for all my friends on the mountain.... Peace

Facebook replies to I can't go those dates and already bought four day passes. They will be issued a three day pass and refunded a day. WTF?
I guess the final move to go younger. No attendees with kids I guess.

I've always attended Mountain Jam with my dad anyway, so this isn't much of an issue for me. I can understand why people are upset though.

"Mountain Jam is a four-day festival featuring approximately 50 bands on 3 stages in one of the Northeast’s most pristine natural amphitheaters. Download our mobile app now and discover everything the festival has to offer; it's your complete guide right in the palm of your hand!"
Not even assuring you of the number of bands anymore.

This kind of feels like they couldn't book a country act for the original weekend and made the switch. this isn't about weather this is about money and country fest.

I wonder what the real reason for moving the four day festival to a three day father's day weekend festival is. Almost like they are intentionally trying to kill Mountain Jam. Last Years VIP Layout did a lot to kill the spirit of the Jam. This might kill it...

It seems like there is a fest every weekend within 60 miles. The whole thing has jumped the shark. I understand that the profit margins are not great so there are more and more with the same business model. Everything goes in cycles, the final nail will be if MULE backs out.
MULE should should go back to a one day MULE headliner like MJ 1.

Has anyone realized that this is the same weekend that clearwater holds its fest down the road? Why would they try to compete? I know that the audiences are very different, but really? I go to both, and last year at mj was not worthy of buying advance tickets. And I am glad I didn't because the clearwater is a better time. On top of that it is clearwaters 50th year. I doubt that their lineup will be lackluster as mj's was last year.
