This was my 6th Mountain Jam and unfortunately it may be my last because of how poorly that issue was handled. This past Saturday my entire site, along with many others, were forced to relocate to new sites with no help whatsoever from the Staff. This was my 4th year camping in the same spot, and even with the caution tape, I assumed it was ok when the Taxi's driving us up there went "oh cool you guys are camping by the water fall?? I gotta check that out!" Literally 3/4 taxi's that our group brought us up there said that to us, so it should have been a safe assumption that we could camp there. Regardless, when we were booted we were treated like we were the ones jumping in the water and like we were blatantly disrespecting them, which we 100% were not. I am just wondering if anyone had that experience because its one thing to get kicked out of a site without warning, its something totally different when you keep having people drop you off there, tell you they gotta check out that area, and then when we get booted to leave, they refused to help ANY of the campers find new spots. We ended up getting stuck at the very top of camping right next to a path. Legit Crushed my spirit when you miss ALL the bands you hoped to see because you spent the better part of your Saturday moving your campsite with no help for no reason.

Are you saying you were camping in an area clearly marked with tape designating it as a place not to camp?
When caught where you were not supposed to be expected those enforcing no trespassing to help you move?
Strangers/cabbies encouraging you to do something makes it OK?
There were people being disrespectful to the land and staff and you didn't address it with them before it messed everybody up?
Moving into camping Saturday you expected a spot that someone arrived Thursday afternoon to get?
You made a poor decision and the consequence crushed your spirit?
I understand being bummed, but having a tough time seeing your side. Help me out.

Sucks, but sounds as if you were not following the guidelines. Not sure what you expected. Parked in car camping and Security and neighbors were super chill

You must have been the guy at the top Hunter 1 that they were having trouble with and told you to get your tent out of the woods within the hour. When they made it down by us to get all the people out of the woods, they were really apologetic about it and everybody packed up and moved (with some complaining of course). Security stopped by my site like 3 times because I had a pretty big grill...they were worried about the health people checking it, but I had the manual for it showing it had 348 sq inches of cooking space and well under their limit of 450. Every time, they were like, "Good man! Just wanted to make sure they wouldn't give you any trouble." Just doing their job. I parked and set up my tent where I was supposed to and nobody helped me either. Didn't realize security was there to help us set up, I'll have to remember to ask for their help next year

ok so my buddy was in his hammock at the little pond saturday morning and woke up to 100ish people all partying at the pond with a boombox and shit lol. apparently it didnt take long once it got that big for security to notice and actually come in and shut it down. from what i hear people camp up there every year it just got too big this time and they had to shut it down cause peopel were jumping off rocks into the water, so sorta a safety hazard

I was camped in a wooded area within the limits of the festival, there were no markings or caution tape indicating that I couldn't camp there. But my girlfriend and I were then woken up at 6am and told to move. I didn't let it ruin my day or anything, but it would have been nice to get a heads up before we camped there. It seemed like there were many staff who would give you bad advice, didn't quite realize what the rules were or would send you to ask someone else and as a result many of the campers didn't know the rules until someone was yelling at them for breaking them.
