Hello! So pumped for my first taste of Mountain Jam this summer. Due to work obligations, I'm only coming up for Saturday. I've been to festivals before, but I've never done a day pass. Can someone explain to me how it works? For example, I know the music for Saturday's lineup will go beyond 12 midnight, and therefore technically into Sunday.... when do they kick you out if you don't have an entire festival pass? Is there the option to sleep in your car before heading out the next morning? Is a shuttle to a hotel worth it? I really appreciate any insight you're able to share! Thanks!

You won't be required to leave until the conclusion of the Saturday performances, even though they technically end on Sunday around 3 AM. Everyone is required to leave the concert field at that point anyway, until it reopens the next morning.
Sleeping in your car isn't something the festival condones, but I've occasionally heard of people doing it without a problem.
As for whether or not the hotel shuttle is worthwhile, I think that's a matter of personal opinion. If you do decide to go that route, make your hotel reservation ASAP as they tend to fill up quickly.

Once you get into the venue your single day ticket is no different than anybody camping there...except you aren't allowed into the camping areas. There are checkpoints where they'll be scanning wristbands (if the technology actually works this year). As said previously, after the bands are done, they clear everybody out of the concert area and not having a camping wrist band, you'll be forced to leave.
Hunter Mountain is a nice ski mountain, but the hotels directly surrounding it are few and far between and are little one off places that will be booked well in advance by concert goers. If you drive down the Mountain into Saugerties or Kingston there are a bunch of chain hotels that will be a lot cheaper and more than likely have vacancies. But if you want to stay right on the mountain, you have your choice of a few independent hotels or old houses converted into B&Bs.
A cheaper option would be to book a camp site at North South Lake. Not sure how quickly the fill up for the weekend, but it's only like 15-20min away from the venue. You could get there early in the morning, set up camp, head to the concert, and then then go back when it's over and crash in your tent there with access to bathroom and shower facilities and then pack up and go home in the morning.

Backstreet Boys BSB are an American rock band. The band was founded on April 20, 1993 in Orlando, Florida, by Lou Pearlman. Now this is the most successful band with more than 100 million records sold worldwide. The band was named after a flea market in Orlando, the "backstreet flea market". In 2019 BB has more than 50 concerts in the US with their tour. Check concert dates at Backstreet Boys tour Denver site. Mountain Mama,
the new location, Bethel Woods, really doesn’t have a lot of hotels nearby. The shuttles require a lot of time and planning, taking you away from the festival experience.
In your case, single day, you may want to Snooze in the car for a few hours after the festival day ends.
its not at Hunter Mountain anymore so the new location and level of security regarding sleeping in the car is new to all who are attending Mountain Jam.
Enjoy the show

New Kids on the Block is my favourite band of 90s. NKOTB had so many hit songs! The ones I remember are 'Tonight', 'Baby, I Believe In You' and their hit 'Step By Step'. These are real songs, not garbage like today! And it is awesome NKOTB have a tour in 2019! And I'm going to attend their concert in 2019. The full list is here: New Kids on the Block tour Milwaukee. Click on it and maybe we can even visit one of the concerts together!
