Anyone is welcome to comment on this forum. Just cause people are not attending this year does not mean their opinion or insight is not valuable.
MBrow happens to put the effort in doing research regarding previous years and offers competent statements.
Unfortunatly some others just want to sling mud.....

First time heading to Mountain Jam. Going this year because a work colleague raved about it and hasn't steered me wrong yet. I'm sure I'll have a good time regardless of who plays when.(of course I have my fingers crossed for certain acts on certain since Thursday is out due to work obligations.)Some of my favorite festival moments have been of acts I either :1 never heard of, or :2 had low expectations and ended up a fan. Going to be car camping. See you in June.

According to Pollstar, Gary Clark Jr. is on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing him for the first time.

I don't see Lettuce playing late night Thurs. they will prob play late Fri or Sat. Umph will most likely do what they did last time they played. Headline + late night. Will be cool if they do what Moe & Marco did last year with a band like Darlingside or something.

The closer it gets the more I'm looking forward. I agree it's not the strongest lineup but it is eclectic and people surprise you. I remember when they announced Steve Winwood. Everyone was complaining. Well he turned in one of the best sets I have ever heard. Maybe it was low expectation on my part but it was a great set. So you just never know. I have given up trying to gauge whether or not to buy tickets based on the line up. It's either we go or we don't and the lineup is the lineup. I do the same for Jazzfest when I have ocassion to go. You know no matter who the headliners are you are going to hear some great music, drink some good wine, eat some pretty pathetic food and have a blast.
