Any others out there going alone? I have no one to go there with and wondering if I should go. My friends festival days are over.

I'm in the same boat, I have been wanting to go to this festival for ages and now that the dates finally work for me, I have no one to go with. Where are you coming from?

Yes go alone, I would. I go to plenty of shows by myself since the wife can't always get off of work. Do it, you wont regret it!

I have been alone to a handful of festivals. It's fun but can sometimes get lonely if you dont know anyone and see lots of people off having fun with a group of friends. I am traveling alone but then I will be meeting up with the crew from the board here which ive done for the past 6 years. I would tell anyone thinking of coming alone to camp with this group!

I go to shows and fests alone all the time. My wife doesn't share my enthusiasm for the festy experience. I've enjoyed it both when I meet up with a group I've gotten to know, like the MCJZ at Mt. Jam, and when I've been solo all weekend.
The best part of being solo is I'm not tied down to someone else's schedule, trip, etc. I do what I want when I want. For me it's great because it allows me to completely immerse in the music. There can be some lonely times, Then again, that's not so bad either.

going solo also. couldnt talk anyone into going with me. thats fine. as sparkdog said gives you the freedom to be where you want all the time.and i'm not missing any acts on my list!

With the wife on Saturday, alone Sunday...hard enough to talk her into going at all...I don't mind going to fests alone for a day or two.
