30 straight hours of rain last year and yet here I am going back to the only festival that requires a camper to plan for all four seasons of weather and rain. However, 18-21 in the day sounds ideal if we get sun. Using the jam cam on the app it is fun to watch the weather change hourly as I patiently wait for Wed. am.

Looks like Saturday is going to be the only rainy day - It's starting to get close enough now where the forecast is going to stick. I can deal with a stray shower or T'Storm on the other days...

Seeing as last year we had forecasts with 100% chance of rain I am not too concerned.

Accuweather is only calling for isolated thunderstorms Thursday and Friday. Seeing as how Friday night in 2012 was a washout and last year had significant rain, Im totally happy with this forecast. We will have our camp on lockdown from any rain and rain gear is never an issue. Look for the HOME TEAM!!!

What do people trust the most in general for weather? I'm a weather nerd myself and usually stick to NOAA and check weather.com for comparison. I know people here use accuweather. Any preference or just what people are used to?

NOAA or Accuweather are the best I think - I'm surprised to see Saturday in the clear now...The chance of showers switched to Friday (and even that looks like a low chance). The weekend has turned into a beautiful looking few days! Might be a little warm on Saturday and Sunday but I can deal with 75-80 degrees. Any higher than that is when people start smelling mighty funky!

Accuweather, esp for the Northeast. I used them this winter for our multiple storms and it was usually spot on. I hope to get a nice sunburn. Remember the more rain gear you pack, the less likely it is to rain. Ooopps, did I just jinx us?

Theres a big storm that's expected to hit Tuesday-Thursday in the NE so I think we will have beautiful weather for the weekend. I'm alright with getting the bad weather over with Thursday and having the next 3 days of beautiful weather. Good thing its not expected Thursday-sunday! lol we just missed it, yay!

Remember the more rain gear you pack, the less likely it is to rain. Ooopps, did I just jinx us? I pulled all my cold & rain gear together yesterday. Considering it's some of the same gear I use for climbing, I am definitely in the "more you pack" club.

I always pack more than I need. it's always better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Looks like Accuweather, weather.com, NOAA & Weather Underground are starting to line up in their forecast: best chance for some rain is Thursday and that's pretty much in the morning. And it's just a chance.
Fingers crossed, it's looking pretty good Thursday afternoon through Sunday, with things being on the cool side Thursday and Friday.
